September has been a bad month for my credit card.  So many launches, so little cash.  After the huge Tom Ford and Harrods Chanel splurges, I still caved in for the Rouge G de Guerlain in Garçonne #25.

Besides Chanel and coral makeup, I have a weak spot for red lipsticks.  Even though I hardly get the chance to wear them* (wearing one to work is out of the question), I love to buy them.

I wanted to post this about a week ago as I was quite excited about how this turned out, but had to wait until my friend had received the parcel.  It was my friend's big 3-0 birthday recently so I had to look for a special gift for her. 

A Guerlain lipstick is definitely a treat. It's in the top tier of luxury lipsticks with Tom Ford and Serge Lutens. Actually, Serge Lutens is in a whole other class due to its price but that's for another day.
