This autumn season is the season of new high end liquid lipstick launches - Guerlain, Shiseido and MUFE have all released liquid lipsticks.  It was a nice surprise to see Stila with their own version with the Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick.

This range has 10 shades and includes a few nude neutral shades but the vibrant bright shades definitely dominate.  I don't associate Stila with bright vibrant lip colours (I tend to think of very natural barely there lip glazes when I think Stila) so I found this quite refreshing.

I have to admit Stila Love at First Blush was a bit of an impulse/cheap-thrill buy for me.  I didn't need another pink blush but thought I would feature it for Valentine's Day*, since quite a few people were interested in the blush when I posted some preview images for Stila's spring collection.

I remember coveting Stila lip glazes circa year 2000.  The colours were enticing and no other brand had the Touche Eclat-like packaging at the time.  I was still living in Sydney at the time and they were stunningly overpriced in Australia.  When I saw this Lip Glaze Set online for a great price, I had to pick them up as gifts for nostalgic reasons.

I love super bright colours for summer.  For August I've been wearing very bright lips, neutral eyes, and fresh nail colours.

In my last post I wrote about the NARS cream blushes which has an almost powder like finish once applied.  Stila Convertible Color is very different.

Continuing with the Stila haul, I bought a Smudge Pot in Black Cat. Black Cat is a slightly toned down black with silver glitter.

I had heard of smudge pots but didn't really know what they were - the name implies it's a creamy eyeshadow for a smudgey smoky eye look. In fact, smudge pots are designed to be used both as gel liner and as eyeshadow.

Remember the days when Stila was really popular?  Everyone wanted one of their clear plastic pen glosses.  The convertible colours.  The illustrated palettes with the noseless Stila girls.

Ordered a few things on Thursday and Friday and received everything on Saturday morning.  Been testing them since, look out for reviews on them soon!
