L'Occitane Délice des Fleurs

L'Occitane invited me to have a look at their Christmas collections - Délice des Fleurs and Délice des Fruits.  Both collections are inspired by a traditional sweets factory in Provence.

The products are laid out and displayed like a traditional sweets shop, which I thought was quite sweet.

I particularly liked the illustrations in the press release as well - very cute.

clockwise from top left - soap, hand cream, bath bomb, body cream & shower jelly

Delice des Fruits (the collection I prefer and actually quite like) smells like candied citrus fruits, and contains clementine & lemon essential oils.  The Délice des Fruits collection has a bigger choice of products - there is a body cream, bath ball, soap, lip balm, diffuser and candle that is not availble in the Délice des Fleurs range.

I was gifted the Délice des Fleurs gift box, which includes a Eau de Toilette, shower jelly and a head cream.  The Délice des Fleurs scent is VERY sweet and smells of rose and violet petals.  In fact this range is a lot girlier in general - everything is pink and pretty.

The hand cream is a perfect size for the handbag, and as expected from L'Occtitane, a very good hand cream.  The shower jelly's fragrance is actually quite strong and long lasting for a shower gel.  I can't comment on the EDT as I haven't tried it - I think the scent is a bit too sweet for me.

There are lots of other gift sets available from the other L'Occtitane ranges as well, such as Verbena and Shea Butter.  They are all packaged in gift boxes in either orange or pink, which I think is a nice change from the usual Christmassy colours.  All the products are also available individually, and the smaller items are great stocking fillers.

Overall I do like the Délice collections for Christmas- no heavy cinnamon or spices.  I would have been happier with the Fruits box, but no complaints since I received it as a gift.
