Chanel Joues Contraste in Candy #13
I picked up Joues Contraste in Candy #13 from the Harrods Chanel pop-up counter. As far as I'm aware, this shade is not normally available in the UK. After a quick google search, it appears Candy might be a permanent shade in Asia.
Chanel Tweed Manicure
My Harrods / Marian Newman Chanel Tweed Manicure with Rose Insolent as the base colour and Graphite & Black Pearl as the tweed effect stripes.
To be honest I was underwhelmed with it, I was expecting something more intricate...maybe with some texture?
I was hoping to get mine done with THE Marian Newman but because I arrived on time, I got one of her team instead...who was lovely but would only do the accent nail. I had a peek at the girl ( who arrived late) who had her nails done with Marian and the tweed effect was done on every nail, with a much better result. To rub it in I smudged the nails when I went to pay for my Chanel items as well. Oh well.
More Chanel
I know it's been Chanel overload here on the blog but I do love my Chanel. Right now, the Harrods pop-up counter have some nail polish(es?) and Joues Contrastes that are not normally available at UK counters.
Chanel Poudre Tissée in Brompton Road
This highlighter/blush has the longest name in the world - Poudre Tissée Highlighting Powder and Blush Natural Finish in Brompton Road. This is a Harrods exclusive, along with three Rouge Allures and a glossimer, as part of the Knightsbridge collection.
Lipstick of the day #12 - Chanel Rouge Allure in Hyde Park
Chanel Rouge Allure in Hyde Park is a Harrods exclusive as part of their Chanel World promotion. There are three Rouge Allures in this Knightsbridge collection - Hyde Park, Kensington (fuchsia pink, almost Barbie-ish) and Belgravia (just pink).
The Rouge Allure packaging is my favourite out of Chanel's lineup. The lipstick case is probably the most innovative bar Guerlain's Rouge G - you click the gold base and out comes the lipstick from the sleek black case. Genius.
Coming soon...

Have a nice Sunday :)
Chanel Une Promenade Exhibition at Harrods
Some photos from the exhibition. It's supposed to be no photos allowed
but I sneaked some in the rooms without security watching.
A giant Chanel bag
The 2.55 Room. I sat there for a while watching how the bags are made...fascinated as I have one and have never really thought about how they go about making it.
The Haute Couture Room is all kinds of special but couldn't take any photos there :(
If you're in London, please do have a look and get a guided tour from one of the curators - you'll get much more from it.
