March Favourites & Randomness

I love this shot of Christina Hendricks with the popsicle stained lip look from Elle magazine. For March I've been mainly wearing my ultra bright blushes with a nude lip.
Clockwise from top left: Chanel Joues Contraste in Fleur de Lotus (to be reviewed soon, I forgot to write the post), Suqqu EX-04 lipstick, Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation in Nude, Suqqu EX-03 blush, Maybelline 24hr Tattoo in Tough as Taupe (who makes up these names?), Suqqu EX-02 blush, Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air, Avon Supershock Liner in Black (I bought them online for £3 each (?!) and they're fab!) and Nars sharpener.
I've been using gel eyeliner pencils to tightline my upper lash line for the past three months but I didn't have a proper eyeliner sharpener. I was using an ordinary Muji one which meant all my pencils were getting chewed up - you know, you turn the pencil a few times and then the 'lead' gets stuck on the blade, breaks off and you have to start all over again. Now I don't get that anymore with the Nars sharpener. It's a revelation (to me). And forget how magazines always advise you to stick the pencil in the freezer for a few minutes - didn't help at all for me - buy a proper sharpener!
March means it's spring time in London and no more dreary grey & cold days. But perhaps I was a bit too optimistic with my Zara purchases.
And now for the randomness. 20th March was Macaron Day and I picked up a box from Pierre Herme - what I paid was donated to the Ambitious about Autism charity. For that day only, PH sold all his past limited edition macarons...nom.
Louboutin pop up shop at Selfridges.
I picked up L'Eau de Chloe in time for spring as well. The original Chloe was a bit too sweet for my liking but I really love this fresher version (and I don't usually like 'commercial' department store perfume). The lady at the counter gave me a mini gift set which included the perfumed bubbles. Now I can dance around in a field blowing bubbles with wild abandonment too. (advert image from elle)
Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks have finally launched in London! I picked up two after a bad day at work (who am I kidding, I would have bought them regardless). Have't yet given in to the matching nail polishes.
Last but not least I've been spending a lot of my time in March on Draw Something - I think this picture (by my friend) is so adorable :)

What a beautiful entry! I love the sun behind the tower, your zara skirt, and Christina Hendricks :)

I love this post! Everything is beautiful, and I love the idea of dancing in the Chloé bubbles, too ;)
I haven't caved to the Dior polishes yet either, but they are so pretty. ._.

I'll be waiting for the Chanel Joues Contraste review, I've been wanting to get the Espiégle one for a long time, this shade looks really pretty too. Love the goodies you bought at Sephora! xx

Dovey - Thank you :) The skirt unfortunately might be going back to Zara. Its pretty but I'm not sure I'll wear it all that much? :/
Larie - Exactly! I'm trying to hold off until they're available on a particular online store because I have a gift voucher there. But the temptation is to get the polishes at another store right now so I can wear them asap! #firstworldbeautyproblem
Glitter Detector - I have reviewed various Joues Contrastes on my blog, please have a look. Overall I like them very much - smooth and very pigmented, but some people do not like the heavy rose scent. the only one I don't have is Espiégle because it's a bit too light for me! But if the colour suits you then I don't think you'd have any problems :)

This post is everything!!!
I love the Zara goodies, hopefully you were able to wear them during this week of glorious weather! The AVON Supershock gel liner is amazing, I saw Crystal's YT vid and also got mine for 3 squid, I got the black and blackberry and they glide on effortlessly :)
Are Pierre Herme macarons any different to Laduree or are they better? And is the gift set still available with the L'Eau de Chloe? I actually like the original but I do like fresher lighter fragrances for the summer months.
One of my 'train friends' introed me to Draw Something, totally addictive, I cant draw to save my life and some of my offerings have my friends in stitches, I cant fathom how they guess correctly lol!!

JA_UK - No I didn't get to wear any of my new stuff yet. And of course this week is going to be freezing again :/ I prefer Pierre Herme macarons - he has the weirdest flavour combinations but they taste so good. Laduree macarons just taste like sugar to me. I don't think the gift set is a normal GWP...because the offer is for a cosmetics pouch? The gift set is pretty small and has a hand cream, the bubbles and a perfume mini. Yes sometimes I get some pretty abstract 'drawings'...
fi - I think it's so cute. A lion with a piggie tail lol.
