July Favourites - Makeup

My absolute favourite for July is still Chanel Bronze Rosé.

Clockwise from top:  Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in 02 Rose Gold, NARS Blush in Deep Throat, Chanel Bronze Rosé, NARS Orgasm & Laguna Duo, Soleil Tan de Chanel for contouring

I wear lipstick everyday, even for going to the supermarket.  Here's the most rotated ones.  I'm not a lipgloss kind of girl - my hair always gets stuck in my lips.

Clockwise from top: NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage, Chanel Rouge Coco in Jersey Rose #77, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Rivage #50, Chanel Rouge Coco in Monte-Carlo #62, Chanel Rouge Coco in Liberté #46 (middle)

My daily work look is usually just gel liner and mascara to keep it simple, so there's not as much eye products for my favourites.

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink & Sepia Ink, Chanel Byzance Topkapi Quad (I only started using this in the last week of July but I love it, beats any eyeshadow palette I have hands down), Topshop Eye Crayon in Zephyr, Chanel Ombre d'Eau in Splash #75

This might seem like a lot of favourites for nails but I change my polish about 3 times a week.

From left: Essie Red (name unknown), Essie Chubby Cheeks, Leighton Denny Supermodel, Chanel Morning Rose, Chanel Miami Peach, Essie Vermillionaire, Dior Aloha

  1. Hey great post! I love rivage as a colour but not a fan of the lack of staying-power. Jersey rose is catching my eye though; how do the two compare?

  2. They are pretty close colour wise - Jersey Rose has more of a peach tone compared to Rivage.
As for staying power, Jersey Rose is much better as it is opaque - it lasts for at least 4 hours for me.

  3. thank you, I got Jersey rose and I absolutely love it!!
