A Guerlain lipstick is definitely a treat. It's in the top tier of luxury lipsticks with Tom Ford and Serge Lutens. Actually, Serge Lutens is in a whole other class due to its price but that's for another day.


Rouge G de Guerlain is described as an elegant jewel lipstick compact on Guerlain's website and that's exactly what it is. Not just any plain old lipstick tube for the Rouge G! The case is designed by a Paris based jeweller and is VERY heavy. It has a concealed magnetic closure and once opened, reveals a mirror compact. Applying this in public is pure guilty pleasure.


More importantly the lipstick itself is amazing - very pigmented, smooth and moisturising. Georgia is a glossy pink with no shimmer.


These are also amazingly expensive. Definitely for the airport Duty-Free list.
